Radio!!!

Hi all, Just want to share a tip for anyone coming up to having Radio, I used a cream called 'Wheat Grass' available from some health food stores, it is brilliant applied daily to stop the burning and drieness. My oncologist recommended an ego product but this is sooo much better. Give it a try if your having Radio highly recommended, happy new year to everyone, Sheree

  • Hi Sheree,

    thanks for the tip.

I am at no. 12/28 radio sessions, out of curiousity, where are you at with radio? Just so I can judge if it will be useful or too late in the piece.

I am trying arnica cream and when the blistering comes was going to try oats, apparently they have healing and anti inflammatory properties. But this sounds interesting to have on hand.

    All the best

  • Hi.  I just googled this.   Just checking is this Dr wheatgrass?    Also they seem to have a range of gels, soothers, creams etc.   Which one did you find was the best?  Thanks for the heads up. Glad you found it so good.

  • Thanks. Due to start radiotherapy soon, so will have a look for that one.

i've also heard that lanolin, calendula and aquaphor are good too.
