Radiation

So I'm nearly at the end of radiation, only a couple of weeks to go. So far it's not too bad, my boob is bright red and a bit tender but I'm in a routine now ( my appointments are mostly in the early morning so hubby drops me at train station on his way to work, I go up to Perth, have my treatment, get in to changing room, shove a load of cream on my boob, then salt water soak and more cream when I get home). Though there was one ocassion when in the changing room I was putting my elasticated sports bra back on and I caught the nipple of my dodgy boob ( of course) with my thumbnail, which caused me to let go of my bra, which promptly twanged my dodgy boob like an elastic band! Cue rolling around the floor in agony and a lot of swearing! I'm surprised at how day it is to get in to the daily routine of it all and how quickly the time has gone, I do seem to attract the more interesting elements of Perth ( or as my mate said I'm a nutter magnet). This week alone I had a couple get on the train drunk as skunks at 9.30, they sat behind me ( of course) and promptly had a domestic, which from what I could gather was down to him not respecting her, she then decided that in order to gain his respect she'd smash an open can of beer into the back of his head. This resulted in a screaming match and me giving it billy big steps up the train to sit somewhere else! Today on the train home ( it's always the homeward train) I was sitting waiting for train when a bloke with a bucket and squeegee mop sits next to me and starts telling me this long convuluted story about how 3 days ago he witnessed a crash with a truck and a horse box near Bunbury and 3 kids died. I wasn't sure if he was spinning me a story or not but my nutter radar was pinging. I made sympathetic noises and got on the train, he later walked down the train ( minus mop and bucket) asking people for two dollars ( someone did give him 2 dollars but he kept moving down the train asking more people) I checked online and couldn't find any mention of the accident he supposedly witnessed, maybe he was trying for sympathy before pinging me for money! Gotta love public transport!
