Homestly, as scary as it is right now I promisse it is not that bad long term. You learn quickly enough to recognise initial symptoms way way way before they go full blown and you do lose ability to speak.
And you will.find that if you do pop those 2 paracetamol and just calm down and take it very easy symltoms reverse themselves very quickly.
I mean they may not always go away completely but you know that if you start getting better it is not a stroke so no reason to worry and that alone gives you peaJel
I deal with them when they happen and I do not bother getting scans at the time frankly as it is obvious after a while it is just a migraine.
Again, I am some 20 years into this so easy for me to say "do not stress" and you will learn how to calm yourself as it starts to happen.
I guess I just want you to know that once the initial shock is over you will really get used to those symptoms and it will be far easier to deal with than typical 'searing pain' migraines as this one only sometimes come with pain. Also, in the begining they are more frequent but as time goes on they are less and less frequent and sometimes there is even couple of years between 2 'attacks'
Just hang in there - it really does get better.
