Sorry to hear that the infection is not going away... is it just mastitis or on actual.open wound?
If mastitis, instead of iodine have you onsidered good old srushed cabbage leaves? They draw inflamation and infection out. Just need some large leaves (washed and pat dried offcourse) lightly press on them to bruise them / crush them lighty as you do not want them to tear - you just want to release some juice. Place over the whole boob wherever affected then place over it a well firtinf tshirt that will hold.it in pmace or a loose bra as you want the leaves held next to the skin like a bandage.
Change leaves after a few hours.
I have used this on myself in the past with stubborn infevtions where wound had healed over already, on the family and even on a family cat when the poor baby had inflamed paw wound (wrapped him.in cabage then bandage and poor bugger tollerated it - after 3 hors brand new looking pink healthy paw that had been infected badly prior to that)...
This method was even taught in a natural medicine / herbalisam class years ago - if unsure you can google.it as a lot of women use cabbage leaves to treat breast feeding mastitis.
But cannage is only if you do not have an open wound - if opened or pussy do not do it...
For pussy wounds I go to peroxide that you get from chemists as it cleans it way better than iodine (gets all puss and forign matter / dirt etc..out)
