Radiation fatigue

I also am really good in the early a,m and lag around half two, I need a nana nap but unfortunately work until five, I have just reduced my hours for this reason 

I had 6 mths chemo and one month Radiothreaphy.  All finished last July....and I still get very tired. I'm great of a morning. I do yoga very early and an hour long walk. By 3pm I need a rest (not every day but most days). 
All my specialist said to allow 12 to 18 months. So be kind to yourself.

It took me months to feel less exhausted, our bodies have been through a roller coaster ride of bombardment,  often chemo surgery rads and we often try to keep doing everything we were doing prior to our diagnosis. 

Be Kind to yourselves and allow time for recovery it will  happen. 

I was also exhausted early during radio, now eight weeks later still knackered 

By the time you get to the stage of being zapped you are already exhausted. This whole performance, apart from being hugely inconvenient, is just bloody exhausting. Those of us who have to do more tricks than a dog in a circus to get to the point of being fried may spend longer being totally shagged, but only the lucky don't get to that stage pretty quickly.
Be kind to yourself.

yep .. tired now but the heat does not help either... i am 3 weeks post Radiotherapy and 16 days of it... but 160 doses of radiotherapy .. 

My fatigue hit me in my last 5 treatments. Sometimes l wanted to fall asleep at the traffic lights.be kind take time of. We are not invincible. Xx adean

Hi yes I had early fatigue too.  I was already tired from chemotherapy, had a few weeks rest, then radiation and was quickly very tired again.  Good luck.  Karen 

Idabob its not unusual to feel fatigue early on, for all the reasons kooksadream said. I had radiotherapy 2011 at first diagnosis, and it does accumulate. I worked full time right through, but radiologist made me have 2 weeks off at the end. Im so glad I listened, I wasnt ready for the extreme fatigue that hit then, it was indescribable, plus had severe burn, but with solugel healed within a week. Just be gentle with yourself, and nurture you every step of the way, nothing and nobody is more important than you through this. Hugs Melinda xo
