We have finally come home after 6 weeks radiation treatment in the big city....oh what a relief..
Even our poor old dog, MILO, has slept all night and all day.........he was so stressed out in Sydn...
Hi Michelina, my skin under my breast and arm was weeping and very very sore after six weeks too and the nurse gave me xylocaine gel 1% (its a local anaesthetic, can also be bought as 2% over the counter at the chemist) to put on first then bepanthan cream after the gel has dried a little and I found that helped with the pain when putting it on. I found the moo goo really good too but didnt use it when the skin was badly broken and weeping.I finished my treatment mid November 2015 and it is all nicely healed now but not much fun when you are going through it. I feel for you.
