Radiation and Mepitel Film to prevent Burns?

I plan on getting aloe vera leaves from a friend when I do my radiotherapy. I am not comfy putting anything that has any chemicals or preservatives in them. Even the aloe Vera gels sold online everywhere would have 1-3% chemicals/preservatives in them.
