Radiation and Mepitel Film to prevent Burns?

Ok Ne, I used Mepitel and was very happy with it..... It really confuses me that it is not widely used in USA and has to be FDA approved but I did a little google and came up with this - https://www.accessdata.fda.gov/cdrh_docs/pdf13/K130040.pdf - apparently as it is not a oral drug to take it does not have to be FDA approved but has been approved by the Health Authorities to be sold in pharmacies, maybe let your friend know and to tell her radiologist to do a little more research in her field, yes I sound angry as some Drs. don't do enough research and we the BC patients come across so many things on the net that the Drs have no idea about.
