Quick effects after first AC Chemo - hair loss and red hot face
Had my first dense dose of AC chemo yesterday & been having a red hot face on & off all day, temperature fine though. Also lots of strands of hair coming out (long hair but to be cut shorter Tuesday)....
Thanks, I do get a similar reaction to certain wines so maybe some ingredient in chemo giving me hot flushes so soon. After four cycles of dense two weekly of Ac I'll be on weekly taxol & three weekly Herceptin, 30 cycles of radiation & 10 years of hormone treatment at the end. But I'll do what I have to to beat this.
