Portacath discomfort
I’ve had my portacath for about 3 weeks now. The site of the portacath itself doesn’t bother me too much, however where the catheter goes into my artery at the base of my neck is really uncomfortable ...
@M_Cooper .... I believe it should have 'settled' by 3 weeks ..... please contact your Onc/surgeon and get it checked out asap - is it red as well? There could be an infection.
