When you moved different ways my port used to kind of seize at the beginning, and I'd tense and hold my arm still - and it slowly went away. Then I found out its attached to muscle and that gently moving arm eased the pain a lot quicker. I can't quite say that you forget its there, but the probs are minor and much better than multiple stab wounds in chemo ward!!
