Hi Karen, welcome to this wonderful site. This is a great place to ask questions and receive information. Your mum should probably visit her local GP have her breasts checked. It may well be nothing more than a rash, but we are always told to get any changes checked out just to be sure, and with pain involved certainly worth checking out.
