I wrote to John Alexander, MP for Bennelong, He wrote back saying he would write to the health minister on my behalf. He did this but because it was just before the election the government was in a caretaker role. So I got a reply from First Assistant secretary, Technology Assessment and Access Division basically saying MSAC hasn't supported funding for Oncotype "as the incremental benefit of the Ocotype assay over optimal care remains uncertain." There is a new consideration scheduled for August 2019. I can attach the letter I wrote and the replies for anyone interested. It's a great cause to support if you want to drop a line to your MP. @melclarity I was stage 2, node negative, not sure of the grade so maybe yours was more aggressive. My med onc recommended the Oncotype.
