Hi Gurneys,
I was on docetaxel also and my fingernails were the longest side affect even after my last cycle. I finished my chemo in Jan and only now are my nails starting to improve. Sorry to be a bearer of bad news, but I lost both thumb nails and they have grown back but one is lumpy and every other nail had wrinkles and I also still have sensitivity on my finger tips. The worst thing lately is when I try to put my necklace or bracelet on I can't do the clamp up. Some nails never improve, but everyone is different.
Try nail hardener and a good moisturiser.
Cheers Jen <3
