Nails
Just like the rings of a tree, I can now map each chemo treatment by the dark lines emerging on my nails. One line for each chemo, perfectly spaced.
I have now emerged from the fog of my first doce...
It made my nails turn an awful yellow looking colour. I have the rings working their way up from the base of the nail but my problem post chemo is the damage to the nail beds underneath the nails. The nails lift very easily and lever up so over half of my nails are now unattached. I have cut them really short as possible so I don't keep bump levering them up and that seems to be ok for the moment. I wish it would hurry up and recover as I miss using my nails. Last night forget slipping a nail over the outer onion skin to prepare for cooking, I had to use a knife to cut the rings off. Took ages so we only had 2 of them in our hotpot dinner.
