Nads - needing some encouragement
@Nads Well I haven't been on for a while due to work and treatments....Dr originally told don't need rads well that soon changed didn't it. Well 24 treatments down with 4 to go and omg can't wait....
Hi @Nads, those last couple of weeks of radiation do drag on but you are almost there! Sorry to hear you've had your skin break down, mine did the same but the nurses were fantastic and really looked after it well so that it healed within a few weeks. From memory (my rads were in 2012) I think they dressed it with pure pawpaw ointment as well as continuing to keep up the moisturising cream. I also used pain meds to help.
The finishing line is in sight, and I'd agree with @melclarity, if you can take some time at the end just to let your body relax and heal it will be better for you in the long run. Take care, Jane xx
