I had my last chemo today! So happy - but not happy for all the drama after chemo until it goes out of my sytem but nevermind and another 4 weeks till I start Radiation and that will be for 4 weeks, so will take me up to Christmas. While I am having this, my husband will have his back operation on the 1st of December so hopefully we may have a better time next year!

Hi Karen the last chemo is a good feeling, its nice to start to feel normal (hang not sure what normal is anymore) My hair grew back thick, grey and very curly. Not much i can do about the curls but no more grey have gone a ash blond. I know how you feel about the year ending 2014 has been the pits, with my BC and my husband being retrenched, Iam looking forward to the new year. Roll on new year, hoping your husbands surgery goes well, take care of yourself and good luck with radiation, keep smiling

Thanks Deanne I feel so good but I must remember I am on that steriod for a three days and once I come off that I will feel different no I don't push myself anymore and appreciate each day Good luck for you too that is great one year later for you welcome in next year Hugs Karen

Hello Rowdy Yes I am looking forward to seeing what my hair comes back like as I rather have no scarfs and no wigs free in the air lol. Thanks for wishes for my husband it is just bad doing them both at same time but it brings you closer after 40 years what else can happen

Congrats on finishing best feeling I finished chemo 2 weeks ago and have now started radiation today enjoy ure break

Sorry to hear that you have been so sick. I too was very sick after my last Chemo. Session...ended up in hospital. It is hard to eat and drink when you feel so unwell. There is a light at the end of the tunnel though..so hang in there...I am much better now..eating better and slowly putting on weight ....and my hair is starting to grow back!!!! Hope all is going ok for you my doctors did lots of bloods and urine and found nothing then I went back to my oncologist and he said as I wasn't eating or drinking much it was probobaly dehydration so I still feel lousy but I am trying to eat and drink more and see if that helps

Hi Chris I am not doing so well since finishing chemo I have been so sick my doctors did lots of big bottles of blood on Tuesday and results are in and they want to see me today. I can't eat or drink nothing wants to stay in my stomach and I have a urine problem well and it is hard to keep temp down. I am on anti biotics again so will let you know what happens

What a great feeling to finish chemo. I started mine x3 weeks before you..and am feeling well..still get fatigued but able to handle that. I have nearly finished my first week of radiation...the time passes so quickly....no bad side effects!!.. Just remember to moisturise well during treatment...and rest when tired. Best of luck. it is a great feeling that last chemo, then see the side effects through. good luck with the radio - it is easier than chemo I found. Then you can start to feel a bit better day by day.
