Moogoo

I am hoping one of you lovely ladies can assist. I am about to start radiotherapy and have been slathering my boob with moogoo full cream moisturizer. I’ve used this as I have dry skin and it is better than the udder cream for my arms and legs. However I’m wondering if the udder cream is better for my boob? Does anyone know whether one is better than the other?
  • MooGoo : what’s the best one Restore or Hydrate for burns and blistering from radiotherapy please ?
  • I'm sure the regular moo goo moisturizer would be fine if that's what you normally use. I'm not sure of the difference in ingrediants. But basically as long as no perfumes or metals all good 😊
  • Don't forget to ask your clinic about Mepitel film if you haven't already.
  • Hello @Mousie
I used the moogoo udder cream and was very happy. The radiotherapy nurse I spoke to advised to use a cream that you have used pre radiotherapy to ensure no reaction, and they supply you with (free) sorbolene cream if you wish to use that. The staff keep a close eye on your skin throughout and they will advise accordingly.
I went through the public hospital system for radiotherapy and I cannot speak highly enough of the staff and my care! (I am a registered nurse).
My very best wishes to you for your treatment!
  • The Udder Cream is what's in the oncology pack and it's what I used.
