I to had ILC lumpectomy, lymph removal, radiation and tamoxifen for a year and now on femara and zoladex. grade 2, 22 mm. Er positive Pr positive Her 2 neg. A lot depends on those path results , the chemo knocks any tiny cancers on the head and the radio mops up any fragments that don't show up. so that may be why your dr wants to do surgery, I can only say ask lots of questions and have a good think as anything that keeps that damn BC away is a bonus.
