- SisterMemberThat's done, tick it off. Hope all goes smoothly.
- kitkatbMemberWell done and hope everything goes well as you move forward and kick this bloody disease in the butt. xo
- kmakmMemberPhew!
- arpieMemberAll the best for your treatment xxxxx. Take care
- youngdogmumMemberDose dense taxol has left me feeling like I’ve been run over, how long did everyone’s aches last between rounds???
- ZoffielMemberI didn't have dose dense--too old or something or other, apparently. Dose dense sounds both terrifying and appealing. It wasn't a 'thing' when I first had chemo. I asked about it last time but was told no. The idea of getting through the whole shitfight faster and getting a better therapeutic response was attractive. Given how awful regular chemo is, I can only imagine DD is worse, though I never really recovered between treatments this time anyway. Hang in there, chick. Mxx
- SisterMemberI think @primek had dose dense but not sure. Chemo knocked me flat particularly by the time I got to taxol so I'm probably not a good one to ask. I was on normal strength and I would be sort of coming out of it by Day 4 but each week my energy levels got lower.
- primekMemberNo not me @sister. ..mine was normal regime. I was sick enough on that.
- youngdogmumMemberThanks for the responses everyone, I’ll update as treatment goes along to help others who are getting dose dense. Honestly this is harder than dose dense AC was 😬 I’ll see how this pans out over the next few days
- youngdogmumMemberRegarding dose dense Taxol:
Today is my first day without muscle aches.. 10 days after chemo 😬😬😬
I did catch a head cold so it’s hard to say what symptoms were general aches from that and what was down to the chemo.
Will update after next cycle :)
