Last chemo
Hi everyone,
Well where do I start. Getting to the end of my chemo and I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I had a bit of trouble in cycle 2, had a couple of falls and balance issues, ...
Hi Jenny,
sorry to hear you have more s _ _ t to deal with. Can I offer you a little encouragement? I work ICU & these days we treat aneurysms without surgery. Go in through a vein or artery in groin and bypass aneurysm by putting a stent in place. The majority of people get a really good outcome. Don't know how chemo & low platelets affects the timing of fixing your aneurysm, but it is something you need urgent advice on. Ring your Oncologist first thing in the morning and INSIST on being seen. Being sent home today is just not good enough, get your hubby to make a hullabaloo over this one. If you don't get action pronto, ask to speak to the Patient Liaison Officer to make a complaint, then watch how fast they move. Good luck, Tracey??
