Hi Kate
My name is Kaye. I know how you feel. I went in for a biopsy early February and results came back showing DCIS. Bit of a shock. Didn't get clear margins so off for 25 sessions of radiation. Just finished last Friday. Have been advised the same that I will need to wait at least 6mths for the next mammogram. Very worried because as you say, how do you know all is OK.
The tears come and go and and think that is just a normal reaction.
All we we can do is be positive.
