I hadn't heard of IORT before you mentioned it - it sounds a terrific idea to do it during surgery! Peter MaCallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne does it ... It will probably become more 'common place' once other hospitals/Cancer Centres are set up for it.

Thanks Arpie, yes was not what I expected to hear, especailly after kindney cancer as well. Turns out I have a mutant gene so body wont fight these things ☹️. So will do thissurgery and then work out what the plan should be, there is only so many lumpecotomy surgeries one can have . had appoointment with my raadaition oncologist, IORT is intersting process adds time to surgery, and means slightly bigger scare but saves time later which is great. Its only a very small lesion so this is a good solution appartenly
