Hello there Mandy, I was just reading your post, and hope your first treatment goes well:).I am 52 years old and first found out I had aggressive breast cancer in december2010, I had a routine mangram and got the shock of my life when they told me I had advanced breast cancer, I started chemo straight away for 12 months, then went and had a mastectomy (once the cancer was small enough to operate) in july this year, I then went on to have 30 treatments of radiation, and now about to start another bout of chemo, if you would like to chat, send me a message.
