What a way to celebrate the end of Chemo, Erica. It will give you a wonderful opportunity to do something special with your daughter and also to leave the other 'journey' behind you for a while.
Certainly the worst should be behind you by then! Well done on getting through the Chemo so well. You have kept positive and obviously prepared yourself well each time to have so little trouble with finding veins.
Enjoy South Africa and all the best with radiotherapy. I am told it is a breeze compared to Chemo! I am sure you will follow their advice with preparation and maintenance of the radiation area. I have been taking care with this area throughout Chemo as it is important to have the skin in as good condition as possible, my surgeon and radiologist have recommended.
