This is Annie from BCNA's Policy Team. I think it's a great idea to seek a second opinion; this is something I would encourage.
You can certainly ask the hospital to refer you to another oncologist for a second opinion. You can also talk to your GP or surgeon about your situation, and they can write you a referral to see another oncologist.
