I personally had no infections as such on AC but had to deal with a massove candida / trush.all.over my body both internally and externally that persisted for 5 weeks post chemo...
I wore a face mask every time I went out as did hubby when on public transport or shops and that helped. Hubby also.had a flu shot to make sure he was less likely to catch any bugs...
I think everyone has some.sort of issue to deal with due to.weakened immune system but need not be a massive infection as such
