I was.on AC Chemo and by the end of 1st week of my 1st chemo my scal was driving me insane. It was itchy and scaly and any touch of the hair caused immense pain. Falling asleep was not possible as hair against the pillow meant excrutiating pain.
I had my head shaved and can honestly say it was the best thing ever. Pain stopped and never came back. No itch at all... I then bough an electric razor and made sure to shave my head completely couple of days post each round and it worked like a charm...
