Leila,
I have to say Scorpion queen did describe unfortunately how it was for me also, but I cannot stress how everyone is different. You have a pre med infused first then the red one. Generally you are there for quite a few hours. Id take on average 4hrs depending how busy they were. Though I found I only peed red just that day only. Its not painful or anything, so nothing to be alarmed about. The actual process is all fine, its the side effects that can be very difficult and it takes them a while to get on top of how to handle things specifically for you. So its very important to stay in touch with them.
There is a thought that people have that drinking lots of water flushes it out??? just want to clear that up, that is purely for hydration. My medical team made it very clear, there is no flushing the chemicals out of your body, it doesnt work that way. I unfortunately was not able to stay hydrated, I couldnt really eat through it all, and any liquid was too hard too.
Take it from your first infusion. That will tell you how you will travel with it. Day at a time. You'll do more than OK!
