Fec-d round 2 tomorrow

@Trikki2 I found having done the cold cap that I lost a lot of hair and ended up with a couple of bald patches but the hair has grown back so quickly - almost feels like it has happened overnight. They do say this happens with the cold cap. Good luck for tomorrow - hope the nausea is better. xoxo

@Trikki2 all the best with your 2nd infusion today, I think I was a little more relaxed knowing what to expect plus they arranged to have me admitted for 2 nights to hydrate and help the nausea before sending me home. It did give me a better headstart absolutely but was hard on FEC. I would have tried the cold cap as you say, how do you know unless you try?? I only didnt as my Onc said it's not successful on FEC.

It does seem like a lot comes out - I kept mine to monitor it (yuk, I know).  The test for me was whether it was noticeable.  I ended up after No. 2 with a fairly wide strip across my head from ear to ear which I found quite obvious and distressing - no combover possible.  That's when I decided that it wasn't worth continuing.  I was really only doing it to lessen the distress for the kids and their response was overwhelmingly to stop trying if it wasn't working.  I think it did ease them into it, though.
If you do stop, there's lots of videos out there about how to tie great scarves and you may find a wig library in your area which makes it cheaper (I wear a wig maybe once a week so it really may not be worth spending a lot of money on one).

Yes im surprised at how  much has come out so 1 more round and i will decide..xxx

I gave up the cold cap after two infusions. Too much hair came out and what was left was a brittle dead looking mess. Now I love my new short do and am going to keep it for at least a year! Best of luck for tomorrow. K xox
