Finished chemo February 2013 but continuing Herceptin every three weeks and taking Tamoxifen. My hair began to grow a couple of months after finishing, first just fuzz then I could see little curls around my neck at the back. The sides did not grow as fast as the top, which just got thicker and looked like a Mohawk !!! Luckily my friend used to be a hairdresser so she offered to trim it. She cut with the curl and showed me how to go with it by brushing it up at the nape of my neck. She thinned out the top and I sort of looked like me again. Now I am in need of another trim, and it has been around 12weeks since getting it done
My advice......just go with the flow.... Whatever happens, who cares.......happy new year everyone
