Well done to you Deanne for getting through the Chemo stage of your treament. I am 6 months since my hair started to grow back. We are all very different, so I have noticed with the hair subject. I wish you well with your hair growth. It is all to do with the chemo, and cells, so once the chemo is out of the system, our hair seems to grow better. I wore the wig until I had enough hair and my husband said, "I prefer you without the wig" Climate has a lot to do with that too. Once again, personal decisions. I recall waiting for the last minute before I shaved mine, still have photo of my hair in the sink piled up. We are more sensitive to the sun during chemo, and I always covered after my 10 mins of Vitamin D. The problem being that if you dont get any sun you need to take vit d caps! (immune system). I like my hair being coloured, but wont be thrilled to have to do the regrowth each time. I tried to pick something close to what I had before it fell out. It has gone a bit dry, but I expected that. I just want to look like I did before, and the short, grey, curl is so opposite!
Have a good day!
