There is a salon where I live that promotes the use of natural, organic products. I understand that the dyes they use do not contain any harmful chemicals. I have been there prior to BC and have had colour treatment. I was told that the colours sometimes do not last as long as the usual chemical ones but are much safer to use. I was thinking of looking into this more if I want to colour my hair once it starts to re-grow.
I agree that people need to make informed decisions about what they put into their system regarding the risks of cancer. Like anything you need to decide whether the benefits out way the risks or vice versa. Information can be hard to access and many people simply do not understand the risks they are taking. Medical staff do not seem to get into this side of care.
Thank-you for sharing information. People can choose to make up their own minds about these issues but they should at least be aware of the potential risks.
For me, I prefer to avoid putting anymore harmful substances into my body, but if I can look better using alternatives then I will.
