Having just finished my last Chemo 6 days ago, I guess it's time for some more waiting!
Reading these posts I can see that the hair re-growth is different for everyone. I think as soon as I have enough to cover the scalp I will be ditching the wig and covers. I had very thick straight hair before that was starting to have some grey patches, so we'll see!
Living in Queensland with summer coming, short hair won't be a problem heat wise! My daughters are already telling me I'm going to have the coolest head this summer. I am just grateful to be finished with Chemo and determined to appreciate feeling better again! I'm happy to walk around home with my fluff covering but hope I get some real hair soon! Will have to be careful of the sun! :) Deanne
