Day 9 after chemo 2

Day 9 after chemo 2 Sat 13th Feb. I just get on top of one side affect and then there’s another few. Painkillers Targin working great, reflux Pantoprazole fantastic but instead of “may cause drowsiness” could they put in big block letters WILL CAUSE CONSTIPATION on them? I could have taken Movicol and avoided it if I had known. Les was going to start charging me rent on the loo if I didn’t give it up soon lol.

My eyes are blurry and red again today which is the same thing happened about this cycle last time too. I might get a script from the Dr for next time for it. I’ve had it before in times of being run down but this is getting regular and my eyes look like Dracula today. Apart from being quite tired I am good. Walked the dogs early this morning before that wild wind came up. Is there a cyclone off the Fraser coast or something today? It’s blown all the flies and mozzies away so can’t complain about that. ?

  • Yes all pain killers should have the warning about constipation... Or maybe we should just take movicol automatically once we start them! Hope you don't have to pay too much rent! lol!

Glad you had a nice walk ... Take it easy

  • Hey Brenda

That's a very good point about the constipation thing. All those narcotics should have a big brown alert on the pack. The pharmacist could use it to up sell - would you like laxatives with that? Trust me, you would.

Glad you got out for a walk with the dogs. Have found walking to a real treat these days, and I like seeing everyone else out with their assorted poochies.

    All the best :)
