Know just how you feel, Brenda. Day 19 of my first cycle and thursday I have the 2nd chemo. *UGH* Within hours of my first chemo I got the 'metal mouth' syndrome lol NOT nice. Within 24 hours huge bone pains and muscle pain, thrush of the mouth, and an overwhelming tiredness. Fought it for the first couple of days, but in the end I conceded and now I just sleep/nap about hourly.... and I don't give a damn. Only good thing is how much weight I've lost.... 7 kilos!!! Although all a bit too fast. Thankfully, I've just discovered about the only thing doesn't make me want to barf is jelly and tinned fruit.... (or fresh). I'm kind of over the jelly/fruit thing now though. What I wouldn't give for a REAL meal that doesn't taste and feel like sawdust. *sigh*
But, Brenda, don't fight the tiredness. You're body is telling you it doesn't appreciate the poison..... go with it and just nap as often as you need.
Happy snoozing :))
