Yes Medicare is a national scheme not state so same safety net applies to all Australians - if you visit the Medicare safety net site by googling it you will find the different amounts for individuals and pension card holders etc and which safety net will apply to her.
Where I have been going they lodge my claim online and I get a printout of what I get back and it's in my bank next day
