Chemo

Hi all went to my chemo appointment today and they said that i will only need 4 treatments starting 2 weeks after my double mastectomy and reconstruction, So that is one good thing that it is only 4 treatments. They took some blood tests today but had trouble getting my veins which they always have trouble with no matter how much I have had to drink. They say that on my first chemo which will be on the 8th of April they will have to put in a PICC Line. And will have Doxorubicin and Cyclophosphamide put through it. I asked them for a cold cap when i go in there to try to save some of my hair falling out. I have my double mastectomy on the 23rd of March if they don't cancel it on me as heard the Queen Elizabeth Hospital is having trouble with their airconditioners so they have canceled other operations because of this hopefully it will be fixed before my operation as i would hate them to cancel it on me. Was going to get them to change my chemo to have it done at the Lyall Mcewin hospital but they said that they do not have the cold caps there so it was go to lyall mcewin for chemo and lose all my hair or go to the royal adelaide hospital and have the cold cap and hopefully not lose to much.
