CHEMO
Hi Ladies,
First round of chemo done & dusted. It was so not the MONSTER I had created in my head, I had my Husband there to support me & my oncology nurses were brilliant so kind & caring nothing to much trouble also my beautiful mum was waiting for me when I got home, which was very comforting,I am felling quite light headed & drained but apart from that fine am hoping for not too many side affects but will deal with it as it comes.
Take care
Robyn

Hi Robyn, so glad to hear that all went well :-) Here's hoping you don't have too many side effects but if you do have anything that worries you don't hesitate to call your oncologist or the oncology unit. Best wishes, Jane xx

Hi Robyn-Lee,
Congratulations! You have taken the first big step in your battle against cancer. I remember feeling elated after my first treatment. Take it easy over the next few days... technically your body has been "poisoned" so you won't be feeling like your normal self. Be kind to yourself and be patient with your recovery, it will take as long as it takes.
