Hi Terry, Yes, I think what you are going through is pretty normal. Last year I had four rounds of chemo, 21 days apart like you. With each one I found that around day 4 and 5 was the worst - so tired I could hardly get out of bed like you describe. It is very frustrating when you're used being busy and active. Unfortunately you've just got to ride out it, let yourself rest, let your family and friends take care of you.
On the plus side, you will probably feel a bit better in a couple of days. It's cyclical thing. You have the chemo, it takes a couple of days to really kick in and you feel terrible and then you gradually feel better and better until the next one. I won't lie to you though, even on your best days during chemo you probably won't feel as energtic as you normally would. There was always a lingering lethergy, for me anyway. And that tiredness and lethargy got more pronounced with each treatment.
It does suck, I know, but four is not that much compared to what some women have to endure. You will get through it. Be kind to yourself and look at it as a time to take a much needed rest - read books, watch some mindless TV or some DVDs, just sleep if you need to. It's a drag, but it passes and in a few months you will feel good again. Take care, Janet. :)
