Good luck with your chemo. Can't escape the needles- blood tests cannulas, even if you have a port or a PICC line there are still needles. Deep breaths, closed eyes, meditation or anti- anxiety medication- use what it takes to get you through.
I did the scalp cooling and even though my hair did thin significantly initially, it started to grow back very thick in the 5th month of my six months of chemo. The literature I'd read advised persisting through any hair loss and so i'm pleased I did.
