Trik, you will have to take them as prescribed. If you have only taken the codeine, read the bottle and take them accordingly. If you have taken PD forte(which also contains codeine) as well you will have take that into consideration. This is not medical advice, but a quick google suggests that 15- 60 mg codeine every four hours not exceeding 360 mg per day is OK, short term under normal circumstances if you have no underlying conditions. Chemo can muck all that up, which is why you need to get some dedicated advice. Do you have an after hours number you can call to check if you are not sure? If you are taking them as directed you should continue to do so if they are helping.
