Care of scalp after hair loss
Am about to lose my hair...have my 2 nd cycle of chemo in a couple of weeks. Just wondering what products are beneficial to use .
My scalp actually hurt when my hair started falling out. Perhaps be careful not to use synthetic scarves etc or have a wig on for too long.It's easy to get an irritation so cotton headgear I found to be the best.I washed my scalp in Cetaphil wash then dried it and rubbed in either sorbolene or Moo goo- any fragrance free moisturizing cream for dry skin will probably do-trial and error.Good luck and remember to co ordinate headgear with dress gear- very easy to step out the door looking like a gypsy!
