Carboplatin and taxol
so here is my official treatment plan- carboplatin and taxol day one, and taxol days 8 and 15 for 12 weeks (4 cycles), followed by act every 2 weeks for 8 weeks (4 cycles). Anyone done this regime? ...
You'll be right Mary. Lots of folk here have done it and made it through. It's not fun but it's rarely as bad as we think it's going to be. They've got good meds for most side effects. Remember to be kind to yourself, accept all offers of help, go for a walk most days (it helps lessen side effects), drink plenty of water and eat as healthy a diet as you can manage.
