Carboplatin and taxol
so here is my official treatment plan- carboplatin and taxol day one, and taxol days 8 and 15 for 12 weeks (4 cycles), followed by act every 2 weeks for 8 weeks (4 cycles). Anyone done this regime? ...
Sorry @MaryB83 - I haven't had this one although am having AC-T (4 x 3 weekly AC followed by 12 x weekly taxol). My experience is make sure you have someone to drive you and be there to assist if you need it. You may want reading material but I've never been able to focus much. Headphones - podcasts or music on your phone.
Are you having a port? While I hate mine, I am very glad I've got it as it saves the veins a lot of trauma. Although with 8 cycles it may not be deemed necessary. The AC drug is very hard on the veins.
