Hi @Temple I'm one of the ones that said that staff had praise. They weren't talking to me, they were talking to each other. It was simply them saying things like "perfect" when they'd put me in the right spot. I just chose to take it as a compliment for me, even though it wasn't intended that way. It wasn't a conversation, I was fully aware that I wasn't to move at all. I just let them do their thing and it amused me for them to keep saying "perfect". So I spoke up and said "thanks" every time they said it.
I keep in mind that they are dealing with very sick people all day every day, it must be tough on them. So if I can make a little joke or lighten the atmosphere a little, I will. It helps them, and it helps me.
I think the way we talk to ourselves and things we tell ourselves really matter. If we are constantly telling ourselves its a terrible experience then it will be. I chose not to do that.
