Branded for life
Gday girls, Ive hada break from this site, being busy with appointments. Delighted to FINALLY learn that my treatment doesnt involve chemo. No consolation though. Monday I have 1st radiation session ...
My dots are so tiny I can barely see them now - 6 weeks after final zap.
(I actually asked for a butterfly but was told by the nurse she could only manage little dots !! :P)
They need to be INCREDIBLY accurate with the zapping so the tattoo is a must - you'll understand when you get there. But honestly it's nothing to worry about, juts consider it part of the journey. The zapping is a breeze as paulag said.
We have a lovely chemist here in Tas (homeopathic) who make their own radiation therapy cream. It was fabulous, I used it liberally, and suffered only some redness and no major burns. I was told sorbolene was also good.
best of luck
