Well, I had my op three and a half weeks ago. Doctor is surprised at how well I am coping. I have an infection at present and not feeling the best but I'll soon be on the mend. I am so glad that I took this final step as that is one less thing that I have to worry about. Now, it is time to look into having a colonoscopy as I carry the Lynch Syndrome gene as well as the Braca 2 gene. This has to be carried out every twelvwe Months. Not looking forward to having them so often but if they can detect a change it is worth it.
