Arimadex
Hi I've been on arimadex 1 month. I am post masectomy
9 months, I had TAC chemotherapy and then radiotherapy.
Since being on arimadex I have had hot flushes only mild but my joints are quite painful.
I am hoping my body will adjust.
Does anyone know will my body adjust to the tablets or get worse.

- Thanks for your info I have just changed to tamoxifen been on it 8 days but hot flushes are bad...will get some fish oil....thanks
- Hi, I have been on Femara now for over 2 years. It is a similar type of medication to Arimidex. I suffered badly from painful joints and stiffness, plus the hotflushes . I took large doses of fish oil, and that really helped. I am only on a normal dose now, but stiffness and aches are all gone. The hot flushes are still there, but not as intense as before. It took a few weeks to notice an improvement, but it does work well. Good luck. Love Chris xx
