Anyone had Radiation Liverpool hospital?

Hi - posting a bit this morning. Has anyone had radiation at Liverpool Hospital? Waiting to be contacted and just wondering process, how did you find it? Anything else you would like to share. Thanks!

  • Referral to BC nurse is usualky via the surgeon, if you had surgery first. I had chemo 1st, and self referred. If you google mcgrath foundation, there's a link to search by post code ro find your closest mcgrath nurse. Breast care nurses aren't all mcgrath fundwd nurses, so it may akso be worth investigating whether Liverpool Hospital have there own. If you are having rediotherapy there, you should be able to self refer to them.

  • Not as yet - does this happen via Surgeon or Oncology Department? 
  • Hi @Traynota. Can't help with your questions about Liverpool Hospital.  I'm sure I've seen references in the past to people having treatment there, though. Do you have contact details for a breast care nurse? If nobody here is able to help, they should be able to.
